M000000: Centrale Management Projects Job Jar

A running job jar of ideas and notes on projects and tasks for developing, operating, and maintaining the Centrale network, its computers, its resources, and its web presence.

These projects are about Centrale itself, rather than the construction of this mini-Web about Centrale. It takes work to keep them straight, and some tasks live in both worlds.

	2005-02-11	I need a template for system-management notes in some subdirectory or up here with the other basic elements. See how this plays out on TROSTing and bring something back here. Meanwhile, I want to start something in blocco. [dh:2005-02-11 I will do that using the material in centro/2005 on M050101 as a starter.]
	2005-01-29	There needs to be a CD-RW snapshot for the drive that is installed on Centro. This is a standard arrangement where the current configuration is at the main level, but it is an include-page of a specific snapshot. There appears to be hardware, software, and subsystem as an operating-system component.
	2005-01-29	Create a Backup Project using Centro as the backup system.
	2005-01-29	Create a CD-RW upgrade project for Centro.
	2005-01-29	Introduce the current configuration of liberta that reflects what we have done as part of rebuilding it with Windows XP SP2.

done	2005-01-29	My experience is that I don't want project zones everywhere, though I can have project notebooks at various subordinate levels. The only question right now is whether P is the correct prefix. This is about the construction and maintenance of centrale and the systems on it. I'm inclined to use M (for machines/maintenance/management) rather than H (for hardware).

done	2004-09-03	Well, I dunno about all of these P-prefixed projects with independent catalogs. There must be something else I can do here to sort this all out. And before I get too carried away. I think I want one centrale catalog, because that is how it works. I think orcmid/imprese holds the projects, and they are projects. Somehow orcmid/centrale is like construction, documentation, How-to, but not so much about individual sites as other aspects of centrale. I guess I need to build a list of prefix letters.
