The Yamaha CRW3200EZ CD-RW drive was installed on 2002-08-11 to replace a Creative RW4224E that was installed in 1999 and that had failed as a recorder.

The Yamaha now appears unable to record. This notebook captures enough information to account for its potential removal and replacement by a new Sony drive that will work on Windows 98 SE and XP Pro SP2 when I do my upgrade.
