This post is also my way of testing whether I have now banished the extra blank lines that the new Blogger has been adding to my posts, probably because of a new/old setting that has unexpected behavior. I don't know whether that is something "worthless, pathetic or dubious" that I should submit. Perhaps it goes along with my being of an age that I still put extra spaces after the periods in sentences and I much prefer the layout of my sentences that way. update 2007–02–25T19:24Z Well, it was a “new” Blogger setting, and now everything on my main page has the expected spacing between paragraphs. Of course, the archive pages of earlier articles are not republished: I never republish the site as I make changes over time, and you can see what it was like when it wasn’t working on the just-previous post here. Now all I have to figure out is how BlogJet has stopped allowing me to explicitly set the title of my posts. (And to get it to stop making an automatic link every time I type “BlogJet” I am increasingly tempted to try out the Microsoft Live Writer blog tool.) Comments: Post a Comment |
